Mildred S. Campbell

On December 14, 1923 my mom was born and remained a lifetime resident of Lewisville. On April 16, 2009 my mother, Mildred S. Campbell crossed over to be with the Lord and to rejoin her husband, Ike. As a nurse, Mom dedicated her adult life to helping others. She was a lifetime member of Pfafftown Christian Church and attended First Christian Church of Norfolk, VA the last four years. Mom was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac L. Campbell; her mother, Elizabeth; her father, Robert Ernest Scott; two sisters, Carrie and Mary Elizabeth. She is survived by her son, John Harrington, Jr. and his wife June; the joy of her life, granddaughter Alexis; her sister, Ruth and her husband Franklin Mathis; her niece, Gail and her husband, Bob Faircloth; nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Dr. Susan Yuson. A graveside service will be held at Pfafftown Christian Church Cemetery on Monday, April 20th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Pfafftown Christian Church Youth Fund, 3323 Transou Rd., Pfafftown, NC 27040 will be appreciated.
