Mildred Pruitt Holleman

Mrs. Mildred Pruitt Holleman, 82, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1930 in Surry County to Richard Henry and Florence Spann Pruitt. She was a member of Hopewell Moravian Church and co-owner and operator with her husband serving as secretary-treasurer for Holleman Fixture Company and Jordan Furniture Company. Mildred enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, of 67 years Kin Holleman; two daughters, Donna Ray (Sam) and Wanda Plemmons (Bob); three grandchildren, Lisa Tranum, Beth Lillycrop and James Moore; five great grandchildren, Haley, Erin, Ethan, Alexis and Jordan; and a sister, Doris Linville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
