Mrs. Mildred Mabe Taylor, 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Stokes County on June 14, 1938, the daughter of the late Elder Coy Mabe and Maggie Wood Mabe. Mrs. Taylor was a loving wife and mother, who will be missed by all who knew her. Her presence would brighten every space with a delightful smile and bubbly personality. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate nature, always willing to help family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie J. Taylor and a sister, Olene Vernon. She is survived by her two sons, Bryan Taylor, Jerry Taylor and daughter-in-law, Cathy Taylor. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Northview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Danbury with Elder Gleason Worrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 Friday evening, June 7, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
