Mildred Lucille Hege McNiel

Mrs. Mildred Lucille Hege McNiel, 81 a resident of Springwood Care Center in Winston-Salem died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. McNiel was born in Davidson County on May 18, 1927 the daughter of the late George and Bertha Warner Hege. She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Franklin McNiel, Sr. in 1991. Surviving is a son Elbert F. McNiel, Jr. and his wife Susan of King, a very special friend Rhonda Mabe of Winston-Salem and a special K-9 friend Destiny McNiel. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 15, at Parklawm Memorial Gardens in Winston-Salem with Rev. Bill Chatman officiating. The McNiel family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, July 14, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
