SNYDER
Mildred Lucille Snyder, 91, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born October 10, 1922 in Davidson County to Branson Jones Snyder and Sally Davis Snyder. Ms. Snyder grew up in Hopewell Moravian Church and later moved her membership to Advent Moravian Church where she taught a Sunday School class for many years. She was retired from Hanes Knitting with many years of loyal service. She was the youngest of 13 children, devoted to family and church. She loved working in her garden and taking care of others, both friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers, Branson, Willie, Hosea, James, Wyatt, Frank, John and Ira; and five sisters, Margaret, Vera, Catherine, Cora and Annie. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13 at Advent Moravian Church with the Rev. Tim Sapp officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
