Mildred Thomas

Mrs. Mildred Testerman Thomas, 92, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on October 24, 2018. She was born on January 24, 1926 to Vertie Jones Testerman and Luther Testerman in Ashe County. Mildred will be remembered as an independent woman who loved her job at Hamrick’s. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Wilbur R. Thomas. Surviving are her daughters, Lois Bodsford (Bill), and Sharon Davis (Robert); grandchildren; great grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Weaver, Ella Mae Brooks, and Ralph Testerman (Peggy); as well as a large extended family. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Norris officiating.
