Miriam Scottie Caudle

KERNERSVILLE- Miriam ""Scottie"" Sims Caudle, 87, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. She was born April 20, 1927 in Randolph Co. to the late Eli and Ella Pugh Scott.

Scottie was an active member of Kernersville Wesleyan Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, J.T. Sims, Sr.; and second husband, Richard E. Caudle.

Surviving are her daughter, Kathryn Davis and husband, Mark; son, Joe T. Sims, Jr. and wife, Debbie; stepchildren, LuAnn Jones, Steve Caudle and wife. Vicki; grandchildren, Jonathan Davis, Heather Brafford, Jay Davis; step grandchildren, Shawn Jones, Brian Caudle, Amber Wright; and nine great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
