Mitchell "Mickey" Earl Smith

Mr. Mitchell “Mickey” Earl Smith, 76, a resident of Pfafftown, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC.

Mickey was born in Beckly, WV, on November 26, 1948, to the late Earl Crockett and Searba Winston Smith. When he was able, he enjoyed playing golf and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Gail Smith; and six siblings.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tina Binkley (Jay Yopp) and Mickey Smith (Gina); grandchildren, Austin Binkley and Chase and Gavin Smith; one great-grandchild; sisters, Celina Rice (Ray) and Jewel Smallwood (Danny); and a brother, James Smith.

In honor of Mickey’s wishes, there will not be a formal service. Interment will be in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC, beside of his wife, Norma.
