Mozelle Letha Rose

WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Mozelle Letha Rose, 95, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Rose was born on October 24, 1918 in Virginia to Giles Grimes and Myrtle Anders Grimes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her Lord, and all her grandchildren adored her. Preceding Mrs. Rose in death are her parents; husband, Raymond Albert Rose; one son, Cecil Rose; and one daughter, Peggy Ledford. Mrs. Rose is survived by three daughters, Francis Griffin of Davie County, Shelva Whittington (James) of Winston-Salem, Mildred Thompson (Mike) of Winston-Salem; one son, Clifton Rose (Shelia) of Winston-Salem; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Billie Smith. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Monday at Woodland Cemetery officiated by Pastor James Whittington. The family will receive friends Monday from 12.30noon until 1.30pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
