Mrs. Mozelle Rodgers Voss, 87, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 25, 1928 in Davidson County to Addie Hiatt Rodgers and Aaron Luther Rodgers. Mrs. Voss graduated from Thomasville High School and from Appalachian State Teachers College. Mrs. Voss was a member of Lewisville United Methodist Church and a former member of Lewisville Civic Club. She loved to volunteer at Vienna Village Assisted Living Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Voss; two daughters, Rebekah and Emily Voss; one sister, Violet Ward and two brothers, Dave and Dolan Rodgers. Surviving are two daughters, Jane Tabat of Lewisville and Molly V. Fore (husband Sam), both of Lewisville; one son, Richard N. Voss (wife Cheryl) of Pfafftown; five grandchildren, Matthew Tabat (fiancée Aida), Rebekah Tabat, Thomas, Emily and Daniel Fore (wife Allison); three great grandchildren, Alexander Tabat, Aspen and Onyx Fore; one sister, Barbara Rodgers Myers (husband David); one brother, James ""Scotty"" Rodgers and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Lewisville United Methodist Church with Dr. Ivan Peden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lewisville United Methodist Church or to Hospice & Palliative Care Center.
