Mr. Charles 'Charley' Sumners

Mr. Charles ""Charley"" W. Sumners, age 84 of Winston-Salem, died Friday, October 18, 2013. He was born October 17, 1929 in Tuskahoma, OK to the late Charles Henry and Grace Howdeshell Sumners. Mr. Sumners was a veteran of the U.S, Army. He is preceded in death by his wife, Freida Elise Havens Sumners. Surviving are two sons; Jerry Sumners and wife Trish of Lewisville; Tom Sumners and wife Debbie of Clemmons; four grandchildren, Justin and Eric Sumners, Warren and Candice Greenfield and one great grandson, Elijah. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
