Mr. James Clyde Holcomb

Mr. James Clyde Holcomb, 87, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Holcomb was born August 2,1926 in Forsyth County to the late Gurney Bruce and Emma Reavis Holcomb. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. James was retired from Cloverdale Ford. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife Margaret Myers Holcomb of the home, a sister, Jane Beamer, a brother Frank Holcomb and a number of nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Ronda, NC with Rev. Robin Fitzgerald officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice/Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Trust Fund, 3982 Clingman Road, Ronda, NC 28670.
