Mr. John Wayne Letchworth

KERNERSVILLE-- Mr. John Wayne Letchworth, 61 died Thursday May 23, 2013 at his home. He never met a stranger, a friend to all and a passionate husband. John was born March 27, 1952 in Wilmington to the late John Richard and Nannie Mae Spence Letchworth. John was retired from the city of Winston-Salem as a plumber for Property Maintenance. He was a faithful member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Kernersville. John was a member of Masonic Lodge of Kernersville #669- Raised March 6, 1982 (31 years) and was an honorary member of Walnut Cove Masonic Lodge, Balfour Lodge #188, Renfro Lodge# 691 and West Bend Lodge # 434. In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by a brother Milton Letchworth He is survived by his wife of 38 years Sandra Lankford Letchworth of the home; a Daughter Eva Marie Letchworth Kampwerth and husband Jason; a son Adam Lindsay Letchworth; a granddaughter Lilly Mae Kampwerth; a brother Harry Richard Letchworth; and niece Denise Letchworth Mintz. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Johns best friend Mark True Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Dr. Norman Hubbard officiating.
