Mr. Joseph Lee Brown

Mr. Joseph Lee Brown, 82, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013. He was born February 18, 1931 in Forsyth County to Edwin Hampton Brown, Sr. and Maude Redding. Mr. Brown retired from Goodwill Industries after 31 years of service. He loved to walk to Parkway Plaza and everywhere else he went. He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Ruby, Mary and Janet and five brothers, Edwin, Jr., Tom, Virgil, Bobby, and Billy Ray. Surviving are a sister, Dolores ""Betty"" Brown Tesh (Ray), numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Ruby Belk and Carolyn Ayers. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
