Mr. Michael ""Mike"" Lee Loggins of Winston-Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Mr. Loggins was born February 2, 1944 in Forsyth County to the late James Henry and Lucille Wishon Loggins. Mike was retired from Mclean Trucking Co. after 20 years of service and was employed with Members Credit Union. Mr. Loggins served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. His passion in life was cars, boating and especially his grandchildren. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Teresa Jenkins Loggins of the home, a daughter; Christi Loggins Howerton and husband, Jeff of Kernersville, two step-sons; Tommy Derrick Martin and wife, Danail of Lexington, NC, Shane Edward Martin and wife, Kristy of Charlotte, two grandchildren; Jordan Brooke and Ashlyn Faith Howerton of Kernersville, two step-grandchildren; Keely Martin and Ozzie Ross Martin of Lexington, NC., two brothers, Jim Loggins of Greensboro, NC, Steve Loggins and wife, Jeannette of East Bend, NC, a sister, Rita Loggins Price and husband, Phil and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday, October 18, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Tony Brown.
