Mrs. Banney Ruth Weaver Kiser

Mrs. Banney Ruth Weaver Kiser, 94, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. Banney was born August 18, 1919 in West Jefferson, NC and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a devoted and loving Christian Lady who has gone home to be with the Lord. Mrs. Kiser was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kiser and a son, Phillip Kiser. Surviving to cherish her memory is a son; Bobby Kiser of Winston-Salem, a granddaughter; Candace Kiser Garcia of Winston-Salem, four great-grandchildren; Dante Duarte, Keonna, Candy and Elijah Garcia. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Graveside Service will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2013 at Gardens of Memory of Walkertown, NC officiated by Pastor Robert Hutchins. The Kiser family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Oak Summit Nursing Center for the care given to Banney during her stay there and especially to Nurse Practicioner, ""Cackey"".
