Mrs. Carniemell Wall Williams

Mrs. Carniemell Wall Williams, 81, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012. She was born in Surry County to Reverend Avery Wall and Dora Carter Wall. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Avery Wall, Jr. and a sister, Frances Wall. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rev. James W. Williams; two sons, James Ronald Williams (Debbie), Timothy A. Williams (Patricia); one daughter, LaDonna Mell Williams; two grandchildren, Jason Ronald Williams and Jennifer Lee Meendering (Danny); two step-grandchildren, Patrick Lane (Lena) and Sherri Lane; three step-great-grandchildren, Cory Noe, Taylor Lane and Chase Lane; one brother, Tommy Wall (Gilly); three sister-in-laws, Mattie Lou Wall, Carol Macemore and Peggy Terrell (Jim) and many nieces and nephews. Carnie was devoted to and loved her husband, her family, friends, church family and Jesus Christ. She served Jesus Christ faithfully for all her adult life alongside her husband in ministry. She contributed so much through her talents in music and singing. She enjoyed the beauty of God's creation and especially loved her pets and flowers. She made an impact on many lives and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Winston-Salem First Pentecostal Holiness Church. 998 Hutton Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 with Rev. Tim Wolfe, Rev. Trent Wall, Rev. Tommy McGhee and Rev. Jack Goodson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 9:00pm Friday, May 4, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
