Mrs. Pearl Renigar Gregory

Mrs. Pearl Renigar Gregory, age 91 of Lexington, NC died October 26, 2013 at her home. She was born July 27, 1922 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Coston Leon and Eva Martin Renigar. Mrs. Gregory was a member of the Baptist faith and a supporter of the Disabled American Veterans. She was a care giver to many family members and took care of anyone that had a need. She is survived by five children, Gail Shoaf, Denise G. Black and husband Ken, Frankie Gregory, Jr. and wife Nancy, David Gregory, Sr. and wife Sara, Mark Lee Gregory and wife Carolyn, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Franklin Gregory, Sr., daughter Sherryl Ann Gregory James and brother Ray Renigar. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Chapel of Hayworth-Miller, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Hayworth-Miller. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at 251 N Main St. # 115, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 or Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
