Mung Pu

Mr. Mung Pu, 69, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was born July 1, 1953 in Karenni, Burma to the late Kham Men and Oo Meh. Mung Pu was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother who raised his children under love, honesty, and truth. He was a hardworking man who inspired people to do their best and brought joy to everyone he was around.

In addition to his parents, Mung Pu is preceded in death by his son, Sah Reh, and four siblings. He is survived by his wife, Bow Meh; three children: La Har, Pray Reh, and Shar Tway; six grandchildren; sister, Daw May Khin; and many other distant family members.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21st at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Htoo Gay officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
