Myrna Frizzell (84) of East Bend, NC, formerly of Park Ridge, NJ, died on Friday, October 13, 2023, after a long series of illnesses. She leaves behind loving husband of 37 years, Gary Frizzell, and beloved children Gayla Brewer (Sangallo) and her husband Steve of Park Ridge, Tammera Lindsay (Sangallo) and Joseph Sangallo Jr., both of Mocksville, and joins predeceased daughter Sheri Hill (Sangallo). She cherished her eight grandchildren and their families, Jason Hill and wife Mel, Tyler Hill and wife Bethany, Timothy Chandler and fiance AnnMarie, Jessica Barney (O’Donnel) and husband Chris, Molly (Miles) Accattato and husband Paul, Haley Dennewitz (Brewer) and husband Ryan, Max Brewer and wife Michelle and Stephen Brewer and was blessed and with her nine great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Jameson Hill, Conner and Alex Barney, Abigail Hill, Abby and Jack Dennewitz, Asher Accattato and baby Mila Brewer. Myrna moved to New Jersey with former husband (now deceased) Joseph Sangallo in 1957 where she raised her four children. Marrying Gary Frizzell in 1986, she was also the proud stepmother of his children Heather Clark and husband Dave, Holly Scrable and husband Sott and Hope Miller and husband John and step-grandchildren Alexis, Kyle, Lindsay, Abigail Clark and Lilah and Marc Miller. Born in the Tri-Cities, Washington, Myrna Worthy grew up with mother Frances Worthy-Turney (nee Weagat) and siblings MaryLou Bjork, Wiletta Bolger, Shirley Nacke, William “Bubby” Worthy and Geraldine Tadlock - all predeceased. She is survived by her brother Vernon Turney and his family. Myrna was a true homemaker. She loved gardening, decorating and family get-togethers. She worked at Norton’s paint and wallpaper store in Paramus, NJ, for over 20 years. Myrna loved to dance and was known to sneak in a game of beer pong with grandchildren on occasion. She will be missed by all, especially her devoted husband and best friend Gary. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 1 pm (doors open at Noon for those who would like to speak about Mom) at New Vision Baptist Worship Center, 4765 Hampton Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
