Nancy Dumont

Mrs. Nancy Reavis Dumont, 83, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019.  Nancy was born in Forsyth County on December 2, 1935, to the late Joel and Virginia Reavis.  She was a graduate of Gray High School.  In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by one son, Monty Francis Dumont; and four brothers, Paul Reavis, Joe Reavis, Owen Reavis, and Thad Reavis.  She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Dumont; two daughters, Susan Greene (Cliff) and Debra Thompson (Steve); one son, Jack Daniel Dumont (Kathy); six grandchildren, Heather, Brad, Amber, Daniel, Matthew, and Jennifer; and eight great-grandchildren.  Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
