Nancy Lucinda Gentry Franco

Nancy Lucinda Gentry Franco, 81, of Kernersville, NC went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6. 2026 at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1945, in Buncombe County, North Carolina.

Nancy had a sweet and forgiving soul. She never met a stranger and would always go out of her way to help someone in need. Nancy was a great cook, she enjoyed feeding others and making them feel warm and welcomed. She was kind and carried the patience of a saint. Nancy loved the Lord and could always be found in prayer, a true Godly woman as many would say. Although above all, Nancy was a mother. She could never let you leave without a caring “I love you” or “drive safe” always ensuring that the people she cared for were okay. Nancy will be deeply missed as her presence on this earth made life brighter.

Nancy is survived by her loving daughters, Rebecca Slade, and Natalie Bullock (Steve); grandchildren, James Bullock, Molly Bullock and Bridgette Bullock; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
