Nancy Mae Williams Hughes

Mrs. Nancy Mae Williams Hughes, 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. Nancy was born on December 7, 1942 in Forsyth County to Paul and Leona Williams. She married Hoyt Hughes on December 27, 1959. She worked many years with the Montaldo's Corporation. Nancy and Hoyt loved to travel to the mountains to see family and to the coast as much as possible during their 57 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Hughes, who passed away June 28, 2017; her parents; one brother, David Ray Williams; and an aunt, Edna Williams, who she dearly loved. Surviving family includes her son, Joseph David Hughes, Sr.; her daughter, Rebecca Boyles and husband Mark; three grandchildren, Joseph David Hughes, Jr., Katie Boyles Mann and husband Jason, and Hailey Boyles Fuller and husband Travis; two great-grandchildren, Paige and Peyton Mann; and her beloved aunt, Eileen Williams.
