Nancy Collins Jessup

Mrs. Nancy Ann Collins Jessup, 86, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, September 15, 2023. Nancy was born in Stokes County to the late Ellis Collins and Mamie King Collins on June 25, 1937. She attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Nancy retired from Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools with 32 years of service. She was a very sociable person and loved being around people. One of her greatest joys was volunteering at Forsyth Medical Center. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Jessup; Twin granddaughters, Kori and Hannah Jessup; sister, Betty Owens. She is survived by her son, Greg Jessup and wife Teresa; grandson, Jacob “Jake” Jessup; sister, Bonnie Rogers (Frank); and many friends. A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior. A graveside committal service at Asbury Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mt. Airy, NC at 2PM.
