Nancy Mitchell

Mrs. Nancy Wall Mitchell, 75, of Rural Hall, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on February 24, 1948, in Yadkin Co. the daughter of the late Rubert Odell Wall and Ludie Williams Wall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Gray Mitchell; a brother, Woodrow Wall; a sister, Judy Kiger; and a grandchild, Kayla Marie Willard. Nancy loved the Lord and was a member of Bannertown Baptist Church in Rural Hall. She loved her family, especially her grandkids. Nancy had a love for gardening and craft making. She always had a smile on her face and welcomed people with open arms. She will forever be in our hearts, until we meet again. She is survived by her three daughters, Sandra Willard (Kenneth) of east Bend, Tina Brown (Ricky) of Spanish Fort, Alabama and Tonya Sizemore (Brad) of Mooresville; her five grandchildren, Trevor Absher, Nathan Brown, Brandon Willard, Tyler Brown and Riley Kate Sizemore; and one great-grandchild, Jaxton Willard. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2023, at Bannertown Baptist Church with Pastor Don Charles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
