Nancy Stewart Norman

WINSTON-SALEM- Mrs. Nancy Lucille Stewart Norman, 78, passed away June 22, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born July 20, 1935 in Davidson County to the late Paul Edward Stewart and Frances Rempson Stewart. She was a member of Faith Church (formerly Faith Missionary Alliance Church) and retired in 1990 from Mother-Daughter clothing store. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. F. ""Red"" Norman in 1994, and her son, Richard Eugene Manning in 2002. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kristie Douglas and husband Joe and Paul Manning and wife Jennifer; eight great-grandchildren, Amanda, Richard ""P.J."", Matthew, Kaitlyn, Mya, Makenzie, Lilly, and Chelsea; one great-great grandchild, October and a sister, Betty Burcham. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Mike Gates officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
