Nancy Rose Barber Creeson

Mrs. Nancy Rose Barber Creeson, 83, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.  Nancy was born in Forsyth County on April 3, 1940, to the late William Floyd Barber and Juanita Skittlethorpe Barber.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.  Nancy is survived by her children, Bobby Creeson (Annette) and April Serviss (Bryan); grandchildren, Rayne Britt (Steffannie), Aaron Creeson, Brandi Creeson, Stephen Creeson, and Miranda Serviss; great grandchildren, Kelsi Creeson and Bentley Creeson; sister, Claudia Estep; and special friend, Tommy Martinez.  Nancy was employed in various industries during her career but her most important role was mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed going to Bowman Gray Stadium with her grandchildren.  Relaxing at home, playing video games, gardening, and feeding the birds were all hobbies Nancy enjoyed.  Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.   She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Creeson.
