Nathaniel Hogue, Jr.

Mr. Nathaniel W. “Butch” Hogue, Jr., 75, passed away at Novant Hospital on October 30, 2018.

Butch was born May 22, 1943 in Forsyth County to N. Walker and Gladys H. Hogue.  He was a lifetime member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army.  He retired from R.J. Reynolds.  Butch was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Brenda Hogue, and sister, Peggy H. Bullard.

Butch is survived by his son, Brent Hogue; granddaughter, Whitley Hogue; sister, Mrs. Jerry “Ruby” West; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Dewey Widner.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11 AM at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marilyn Weiler officiating.
