Nellie Hundley Melton

Mrs. Nellie Hundley Melton, 93, passed away Saturday, February 08, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 4, 1920 to James Arbie Hundley and Minnie Harryman Hundley. She was a member of First Christian Church of Hillsville, VA and she retired from Hanes Hosiery. She is survived by four sons, Larry V. Melton, James E. Melton and wife Judith, Danny K. Melton, Edward L. Melton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Melton will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, 2014 at 2:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Charles Bunn officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center and to Universal Health Care in King.
