Nelson Boger

Nelson Boger, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, November 2, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mr. Boger was born January 20, 1939, in Davie County, to Herman Boger and Mary Haneline Boger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn Whitley; two sisters, Pauline Sapp, and Linda Lambeth; and one brother, Bob Boger.

Left to cherish his memory are one son, Joel Boger; two daughters, Deborah Boger, and Dianne West (Warren); four grandchildren, Eric West (Steffanie), Shannon Watts (Ty), Joshua Boger (Carami); Jonathan Boger; three great-grandchildren, Stella Watts, Bear Watts, and Fletcher West; one sister, Nancy Fulcher; and dear friend, Scott Hollifield.

No formal services will be held at this time.
