Nickey Martin

Mr. Nickey Lee Martin, 73, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Atrium Health in Concord, NC. He was born January 1, 1947 in Forsyth County. Mr. Martin was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and was a member of Griffith Baptist Church. Nickey was a friend to all. He enjoyed sports, beach music and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Blankenship. He is survived by his daughter, Candy Adkins (husband Joey); his son, Randall K. Martin (wife Nancy) and three grandchildren, Carson Adkins, Gracie Adkins and Kali Martin. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jason Barber officiating. (Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek is assisting the Martin family.)
