Nighat Riaz

Kernersville – Mrs. Nighat Perveen Riaz, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20, 2019 at her residence. She was born on April 4, 1933 in India to Khalil-ur-Rehman and Khadija Begum.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Dr. Riaz Ahmed Lalah; as well as an infant child.

Nighat is survived by six children, Mohmmad Shahid Riaz, Moses Zahid Riaz, Dr. Samina Riaz Tanvir, Dr. Rubina Riaz Mahmood, Murfoo Riaz, and Rehan Riaz; sixteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

A funeral service for Nighat will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Pakistan-Islamic Cemetery at 1315 State Highway 61, Whitsett, NC 27377. A prayer service will also be held from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Mosque.
