Nina Dyson

Nina Lovins Dyson, 86, went to sleep early Monday morning and woke up in Heaven, where she was greeted by Jesus and the love of her life, her husband James. Nina was born on June 29, 1932 in Forsyth County to James and Beulah Lovins. She retired from R. J. Reynolds Dental Care where she worked for many years. Nina was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Nina loved her family and enjoyed traveling with her husband James, especially their annual trips to meet old friends for a Military Reunion. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Dyson; her parents; and one brother, James Lovins. Surviving family includes her two children: Donna Groce (Rick) and J. Michael Dyson (Kim); grandchildren: James T. Groce (Jennifer), Jennifer G. Holt (Zak), Kayla Dyson, Isabella Dyson, and Sophie Dyson; great-grandchildren: Peyton L. Groce and Colton James Groce; step-great-grandchildren: Hartley Holt and Rylynn Holt; and two brothers, Bill and Phil Lovins. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, with Rev. Jim Bush officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will immediately follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
