Nita Nixon Keasler

Mrs. Nita Nixon Keasler, 64, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was born March 22, 1948 in Wise County, Virginia to Violet Saylers Nixon and Ralph Eugene Nixon, Sr. Mrs. Keasler retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Keasler. Surviving are two daughters, Misty Duggins (husband Rocky) of Winston-Salem and Tammy Davis (husband Danny) of Hillsborough; a stepson, Thomas J. Keasler, Jr. (wife Tonia) of Marion; a stepdaughter, Kelly Hunnicutt (husband Anthony) of West Union, SC; two brothers, Ralph Nixon, Jr. and Billy Nixon both of Winston-Salem; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and her loving friend, Jerry Caudill of Clemmons. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Dr. Timothy G. Sapp officiating.
