Mrs. Norma Jean Allen Huffman, 83, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her home. She was born on May 5, 1942, in Surry County, the daughter of the late of Carl Woodroe Allen and Ida Hunt Allen. During Norma’s working career, she worked for Hanes Hosiery, Western Electric, AT&T, Lucient and General Dynamics. She will be remembered as a kind and generous lady that never met a stranger and always had a smile that showed love to all. Norma loved being outside working in her flowers. She was an accomplished seamstress with a specialty in making curtains. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Ray Allen and Winfred Lee Allen. Norma is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Wayne Huffman and many nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Keith Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pinnacle. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
