Norma Lee Meadows

KERNERSVILLE -- Norma Lee Meadows, 70, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Norma was born in Forsyth County on June 28, 1943 to Howard William and Eula Sluder Meadows. She was of the Baptist Faith and a loyal employee of K & W Cafeterias for over 34 years, most recently working at the Hanes Mill Road location. Norma was preceded in death by her father, Howard Meadows and brother, Ralph James Meadows. Surviving are her mother, Eula Meadows; one sister, Eunice Jean Carter (husband, John) ; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Wayne Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Piney Grove Rehabilitation Center for their excellent care of Norma for the past 17 months.
