Norma Spear

Mrs. Norma Gray Robertson Spear, 82, of King, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 24, 1935, in Forsyth County to Mr. Curtis Robertson and Mrs. Ada Leftwich Robertson. Mrs. Spear was of the Christian faith and enjoyed old gospel hymns. She had a strong love for family and her children, Mrs. Spear will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas "Tinker" Spear, a sister, Wilma Robertson, two brothers, Thurman Robertson and Elwood Robertson, a daughter, Robin Spear, and a granddaughter, Jodi. Surviving are her children, Rick, Ronnie, Randy, Rita, and Ronda, ten grandkids, 11 great-grandkids, two brothers, Harold Robertson and Jimmy Robertson, and a sister, Betty Hartman. The family would like to specially thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Forsyth Medical Center's 5 ICU and CCU. A funeral service will be conducted in her honor 2:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2017, officiated by Pastor Darrell Hampton and Dr. Brad Stamey. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
