Norman Woodrow Casper, Jr.

Mr. Norman ""Tink"" Woodrow Casper, Jr., 82, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center. Norman was born on June 10, 1934, in Forsyth County to the late Norman Woodrow Casper, Sr. and Mary Pettigrew Casper. Tink retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was an avid gardener and dog lover. He especially enjoyed raising his rose bushes and his pet collies he had over the years. Mr. Casper is survived by one sister, Dottie Wise and a nephew, Jeff Wooten, both of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John E. Hackworth, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
