Novella Simms Bull
KERNERSVILLE - Novella Simms Bull, 101, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. She was born April 23, 1910 in Chesterfield Co., SC to the late Hollis and Minnie Hasty Simms. Mrs. Bull was a member of First Baptist Church in Kernersville and taught Sunday school for over five decades. She moved to Stuart, VA in 2009 and became a resident at Blue Ridge Nursing Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lester Thomas Bull. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Kernersville with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Bull family.
