Pamela "Kay" Simmons Reynolds

Pamela “Kay” Simmons Reynolds, 65, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Stokes County on March 26, 1961. Kay was of Christian faith. She loved to sew, quilt and crochet. Kay loved riding around in her side by side and always enjoyed a good meal and a shopping trip, with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jack Simmons and a sister, Ardis Lee Simmons Holt. Kay is survived by a sister, Verlie Griffin of Pinnacle; a brother, Ricky Simmons (Ruby) of Danbury; a nephew, Jamie Holt; and a special friend, Robin George of Westfield. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026, at Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating. She will lie-in-state from 9:00-4:00 on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall, for anyone who would like to pay their respects. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Floor at Forsyth Medical Center, for all of the compassionate care shown to Kay in her time of need.
