Parks William Byrd

Mr. Parks William Byrd, 91, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, November 23, 2009. He was born July 1, 1918 in Swain County to Samuel and Emma Byrd. Mr. Byrd was retired from Western Electric as a design engineer after thirty years of service. Surviving is a daughter, Sandra Peet and husband, Van of Monroe N.C. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Swain County Memorial Park in Bryson City, N.C.
