Patrice Grubbs Knight

Patrice “Treese” Grubbs Knight went peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on September 12, 2026. She was born on April 12, 1958, in Winston Salem to Margaret and Sebron Grubbs.

Patrice was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend. She loved all animals, having countless four-legged friends her entire life. She loved people, never meeting a stranger. She had an exuberant, passionate and fiercely loyal nature.

She was known for her joyful and contagious laughter and upbeat outlook on life. Her faith in the Lord was of the utmost importance to her, as well as her dear husband, Johnny, and family.

She was preceded in passing by her loving father, Sebron, beautiful sister, Denise “Neese” and devoted Mother, Margaret.

Patrice is survived by her husband, Johnny; her son, Ryan (Traci) McCune; her daughter, Jessica (Patrick) Heavner; and her son, Aaron (Ashley) Knight. She is also survived by her adoring eleven grandchildren, Carli, Maddi, Graelyn, Whitaker, Greer, Weston, Junior, Presley, Nora, Preston, and Hadleigh.

A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.

Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family.
