Patricia Harper Davis Curry

Mrs. Patricia Harper Davis Curry, 79, of Clemmons, died on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Mrs. Curry was born on November 1, 1937, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Paul William Harper and Nancy Longworth Harper. Patricia graduated with honors from High Point University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and retired from AT&T. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Davis and a granddaughter, Jessica P. Ferrell. Mrs. Curry is survived by two daughters, Jill D. Doby and Jan D. Davis; grandchildren, Jenna M. King (Gary), Justin W. Ferrell, Katherine E. Doby, Elizabeth J. Doby and William J. Doby; great-granddaughter, Lillian H. King; three brothers, Steven Harper (Bobbie), Thomas Harper (Cathy) and Michael Harper (Beverly); two sisters, Peggy Harris and Linda Harper; and a very special friend, Charles ""Sid"" Curry. In honoring Patricia's wishes, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mrs. Curry.
