Patricia Bovender Hailey

Mrs. Patricia Bovender Hailey, 84, passed away on August 10, 2025, at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living. She was born September 27, 1940, to James Gray and Delsie Bovender. Pat was a graduate of Robert B Glenn High School.

She was a faithful church member, who loved her Lord and Savior. "Trish" was a loving wife, homemaker, and mother of 3 active sons. She was an avid bowler for many years with her sisters. She and Jim enjoyed spending time with their sons and grandsons, supporting them in all of their sporting adventures. To her grandsons, she was affectionately known as Maw. All who knew her loved her and will greatly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, of 60 years, her son Gary Hailey, her grandson Ryne Hailey and her sister Linda Nance.

She is survived by her son Ron Hailey (Michelle), Jimmy Hailey (Ginger), her daughter-in-law Penny Hailey, four grandsons Matt, Hunter (Lilly), Tyler, and Devan (Claydy), great granddaughter Mallory, and her sister Almeda Rothrock.

A private graveside service will be held Thursday, August 14 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 3250 High Point Road, Winston Salem. The family would like to thank Kerner Ridge Assisted Living and Medi Home Hospice for their loving care of Patricia.
