Mrs. Patricia McRae Lucas Hundley, 89, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 7, 1928 in Maxton, NC, the daughter of the late, Allen and Sappho Barber Lucas. Mrs. Hundley was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of James A. Gray High School and was active in the Griffith Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Hundley and her son, Robert William Hundley, Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah H. Brooks of Winston-Salem and Patricia Gail Harris (Ted Williams Harris) of Pembroke, NC; five grandsons, Aaron Brooks, Kevin A. Brooks (Mandy), Ted W. Harris, Jr. (Karen), Dagan R. Harris (Francine), and Vincent Scott Harris (Michelle); and ten great grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Judy and Kenneth Batts and Dr. Vicki Beth Jones-Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
