Patricia Lawson

Ms. Patricia “Pat” Motsinger Lawson, 80, of Walkertown, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Pat was born in Forsyth County on July 25, 1943, to the late Mr. Dallas Gray Motsinger I, and Mrs. Helen Constable Motsinger. She was a member of Welcome Door Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland “Houston” Lawson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Tony Lawson; daughter, Cheryl James; brother, Dallas Gray Motsinger II (Jan) of Michigan; two nephews, Dallas Gray III (Dina), and Daniel Motsinger of Michigan; and great-niece and nephew, Cherokee and Grayson Motsinger of Michigan. She is also survived by many other special people in her life including: great-aunt Myrtle Smith, Nate, and Jeremy.  

A graveside service will be held at 12:00PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at Gardens of Memory-Walkertown in the mausoleum with Pastor Brian Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
