Patricia Langley McClearen

Patricia Joyce McClearen, 85, passed away on August 18, 2026, peacefully at Forsyth Medical Center. Patricia was born January 2, 1941, in Merced County, California to Charles Langley and Winne Russom Langley. A talented baker and crafter, Patricia learned her crafting skills from her mother and grandmother. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McClearen; brothers, Kenneth Langley, Roger Langley; sisters, Barbara Barnes, and Judy De la Cruz.

Those left to cherish Patricia “Pat” are three sons, Charles McClearen and wife, Leslie McClearen, Timothy McClearen, David Fox; stepdaughters, Tommy Sue Emmons and family, Regina McClearen and family; five grandsons and wives; two great grandsons; great granddaughters, and one great-great grandson; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Debbie McClearen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many others who called her Grandma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Griffith Baptist Church, 1987 Old Salisbury Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127, with Pastor Zack Decker officiating. Interment will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite cause in her honor is appreciated.
