Patricia “Pat” Lee Johnson, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Pat was born in Winston-Salem, NC on August 3, 1936, to Charlie and Margie Peterson. Pat was the epitome of a homemaker and took pleasure in caring for her husband and sons. She delighted in sharing her gorgeous blue hydrangeas with family and friends. You could always count on Pat to show up at a function with a tray of deviled eggs and a basket of pecan tarts. She grew up at Ardmore Moravian Church and later found her way to Olivet Moravian Church where she spent countless hours serving her church family. Her last 5 years were among friends at Harmony at Brookberry Farm. A Charter Member of Harmony, she filled her days giving tours, working puzzles, gardening, and playing BINGO. She loved her time of “independent living” and will be remembered for sweet smile and the hugs she gave so freely. Preceded in death by her husband, George E. Johnson and her parents. Survived by her are two children, Mike (Kathy) and David; two grandchildren, Emily (Ross) and Abby and a great grandchild, Harrison.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Olivet Moravian Church with Rev. Matthew W. Allen officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall. Donations can be made to Olivet Moravian Church, 2205 Olivet Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106. Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel is serving the Johnson family.
