Patricia "Pat" Frye Simpson

Patricia ""Pat"" Frye Simpson, 52, of King, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was born August 19, 1962 in Forsyth County, the daughter of Emory ""Snookie"" Frye, Sr. and Diane Griffin Frye. Her enjoyment in life was time spent with friends and family. Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Evan Simpson and her father. Surviving are her mother, siblings, niece, nephews and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove United Methodist Church on Tate Road in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. I would like to thank doctors John T. Sweeney and Nicholas E. Robinson for all their kindness and attention they gave my sister. Also to Dr. Robinson's nurse, Sharon, thank you for the support and kind words. May God bless each of you.
