Patricia "Pat" Tingen

Patricia Dixon Tingen, 66, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Health on Jan. 15, 2016. She was born on Nov. 18, 1949 to Jibble and Beatrice Dixon in Wise County, VA. Pat loved to cook for others. It is said that nobody could fix better tomato gravy and biscuits than Pat. She will always be remembered for her generous nature. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Tingen; and brother, Curtis Dixon. Surviving are her sisters, Paula Burchett and Stella Dixon Badgett; as well as many special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Leak Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Richards and Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating.
